I am a master's student in Library and Information Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an aspiring academic librarian. I hold a PhD in English literature from the University of Michigan.
I am interested in literary archives and manuscripts, special research collections, classroom use of rare and archival materials, book repair and conservation, digital humanities techniques and nontraditional forms of scholarship, and digital preservation.
I currently work for a university press as a digital publishing assistant. My scholarly publishing experience, my background in academic research, and my current studies in librarianship—the three major components of the complex scholarly information ecosystem—have prepared me to work effectively as a librarian in creating, managing, and preserving information resources.
