What is the ATI TEAS test?

The Assessment Technologies Institute - Test of Essential Academic Skills (ATI TEAS) exam is an admissions requirement for the Practical Nursing (PRCN) Program, LPN-RN Transition (TRANS) Program, and the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program at Kapi'olani Community College.

REGISTER TO TAKE THE ATI TEAS TEST IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. Check the Seat Availability Calendar (opens in new window)
    - Information on the calendar is not displayed in real time.
Available seat counts will be updated as registrations are processed.

    - The calendar shows the number of seats available for testing for that date.
    - The Testing Center, may, at its discretion, impose "blackout dates", or reduce the number of available testing seats on certain days of the week in order to accommodate other types of tests.

  2. Go to the online ATI TEAS Test Registration Form (opens in new window)
    - Select up to three (3) test dates: one preferred date, and two alternate dates.

    - All registrations are date/time stamped and will be processed in the order received.
    - Be flexible. If there are no seats available on the preferred or alternate test dates chosen, the Testing Center will contact you by phone or e-mail to re-schedule your test on a date with available seats.
    - PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR A RESPONSE. We will process test registrations as quickly as possible.

  3. Check your e-mail.
We will process your scheduling request and send your ATI TEAS Exam Admission Ticket to you via an e-mail attachment.

Your ATI TEAS Exam Admission Ticket will list your scheduled test date, check-in times, and list important fees and documentation you need to bring with you to the Testing Center.

IMPORTANT: Your ATI TEAS Exam Admission Ticket (page 1 only) is a REQUIRED document for entry into the testing room. Print it out and bring it with you.

Take a few minutes to read pages 2 and 3 of your ATI TEAS Exam Admission Ticket to become familiar with exam procedures and regulations, and important information about the ATI TEAS test, study guides, passing scores, and re-test policies.
