Procedures on obtaining your UH Number

In accordance with the UH Executive Policy E2.214, “Social Security Number(s) may not be used as an identifier in any new University Information System, and its use as an identifier shall be phased out of all existing systems.”

1. Submit a "Request for UH Number" form to the Kekaulike Information and Service Center in 'Ilima 102. 2. KISC will query the Banner Student Information System to determine if the student has an existing UH Number. 3. If a UH Number exists, KISC will give the student his/her UH Number and direct them to the placement testing center. 4. If no UH Number exists, KISC will create a UH Number. Once completed, the student will be directed to the placement testing center. After-hours requests will be handled by Mona Lee's office, 'Ilima 205. |
Students who have submitted their system application fall under one of the following admission categories: a) Application submitted (student not yet accepted) 1. Submit a "Request for UH Number" form to the Kekaulike Information and Service Center in 'Ilima 102. 2. KISC will query the Banner Student Information System to determine if the student has an existing UH Number. 3. If a UH Number exists, KISC will give the student his/her UH Number and direct them to the placement testing center. 4. If no UH Number exists, KISC will create a UH Number. Once completed, the student will be directed to the placement testing center. After-hours requests will be handled by Mona Lee's office, 'Ilima 205. b) Application submitted (student accepted) 1. Your UH Number can be found on your acceptance letter. 2. Bring your acceptance letter with you when you take the placement test. 3. If a student does not bring their acceptance letter or knows their UH Number, they will follow the guidelines under (a) above to obtain their UH Number, or will be asked to login to their MyUH Portal if they have a UH username and password. |
Current students can obtain their UH ID Number by: 1.
Checking your UH/UH Community Collge ID card. 2. Logging into MyUH Portal, and clicking on the tab named "My Profile". Or 3. Logging into http://www.hawaii.edu/account Or 4. Checking your tuition payment receipt. |
