Mon - Thu: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Fri: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Sat, Sun, Holidays: CLOSED

No Appointments Required.
Walk-in during the times stated above.

Average time to complete the test is 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Please bring the following documents with you:

Photo ID
(driver license, state ID, passport, or military ID)
Proof of UH Number
(located on your acceptance letter)

NOTE: Students without a UH Number are required to complete a "Request for UH Number" form at Admissions and Records in 'Ilima 102 prior to testing.

COMPASS RE-TEST POLICY

If a student has active test scores in the Banner Student Information System, a $25 will be assessed for each testing session.

COMPASS Placement scores are valid for two (2) years.

The Banner student information system will take the highest active test score.

Students can retake the COMPASS Placement Test if:

You have not enrolled in or have not taken a Math or English course after taking your initial COMPASS Placement Test.

Students cannot retake the COMPASS Placement Test if:

You are currently enrolled or have taken a Math or English course.

(Exception: Students who have earned a grade of F, NC, NP, or W may retest in the section for which the grade was earned in).

Students are EXEMPT from the $25 fee if:

You have not taken a Math or English course in two years.
Your COMPASS scores are expired (more than two years old.
