CUTOFF SCORES AND PLACEMENTS

IMPORTANT
NOTICE:
Effective
December 1, 2016, the COMPASS Placement Testing System has been
retired, and the UH system test centers is no longer administering
any new tests using this system.
If
you took the COMPASS Placement Test on or before November 30, 2016,
your test scores are valid for two (2) years from the date that
you took your test.
The following charts lists the minimum
raw score that a test taker must earn on the COMPASS Placement Test
in order to register for that class. These scores and course placement
list are specific to Kapi'olani Community College.
If you are transferring your COMPASS
Placement Test scores from another UH community college or another
college from the mainland to Kapi'olani Community College and want
to know what courses you are eligible to take at KCC, please refer
to the table below. If you are transferring your COMPASS Placement
Test scores from Kapi'olani Community College to another UH Community
College and want to know the course equivalencies, contact the community
college testing center for more information.
