Mr. Anjalendran is an artist and architect from Sri Lanka who has twenty-three years of experience in architectural practice. His work focuses on residential architecture, which has been displayed and published in Solo Exhibitions, architectural magazines and books on contemporary architecture. His work has won four awards of ten categories from the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects. He has received the Hermann Gmeiner Silver Medal and the South Asian Architecture Commendation Award for his work executed for the SOS Children’s Village. Mr. Anjalendran received his M.Sc. from the University of Lonodn, a diploma in Architecture from the University College, London, and a B.Sc. in Built Environment from the University of Sri Lanka. He has taught at different academic institutes around the world, including MIT, University of Muratawa, Sri Lanka Institute of Architects,and the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (Pakistan). |
