http://www.m-w.com/ The Merriam Webster site has activities such as a "word a day" in addition to the online dictionary and thesaurus.

Check out the usage and associations with concordancers:

http://www.edict.com.hk/concordance/WWWConcappE.htm A user friendly one from the Virtual Language Centre.
http://titania.cobuild.collins.co.uk/form.html Cobuild's Direct Corpus Sampler has concordances and collocations. A great way to build associations, "word forks" and see usage! Not as user friendly as the VLC site, but more powerful.

English Grammar on the Web has help for students and teachers
Grammar Online, by Mark Wade Lieu, is a great site for more advanced students to study and practice.
Guide to Grammar and Writing has lots of study and practice activtites. Lots of more difficult quizzes to try. As you continue to study English this site can really help you with grammar and academic writing!
english@home has grammar explanations and you can follow links for fun games.
The Internet Grammar of English has in-depth explanations for grammar.
Take some quizzes at Randall's ESL Listening Lab. This is the biggest and best listeng practice site for ESL I know of. It has quizzes for all levels.

For help with writing:

Purdue University's OWL site has a lot of handouts and information.

Once again, there are a lot of links and activities at The Internet TESL Journal's site.
Dave Sperling's ESL Cafe has many quizzes and activities and a Web Guide with rated links to several ESL/EFL sites. Check out some and add your ratings!
Ohio University's Ohio ESL has also compiled a nice set of links to sites, designed for ESL and for general audiences. This is one of my favorite sites, not all aspects of ESL and language acquisition.
