DEFENSE

The Warrior Defense, although not nationally recognized, is one of the reasons why the team has a winning season.  It is the defense that cripples the opponents offense, and provides the momentum for our offense. 

 

Pisa Tinoisamoa, a senior, wears number 10 on the warrior defense.  He plays linebacker, and he is participating in the upcoming NFL draft.  In 2001, he was second on the team with 9.6 tackles per game, led the team with  5 sacks, and 11 tackles for loss.

Hyrum Peters, a junior, wears number 33 for the warrior defense.  He plays the position of safety.  He leads the nation in yards per interception and touchdowsn with 44.1 and 3, respectively.  He received letters in football and basketball from his alma mater of Kahuku High School.

Chris Brown, a senior, wears number 54 for the warrior defense.  In 2001, he led the team with 10.3 tackles per game, forced fumbles (4), and compiled a career high of 19 tackles against Air Force.  He comes from Damien High School of Honolulu.

Kevin Millhouse, a junior, wears number 3 for the warrior defense.  Kevin plays safety.  In 2001, he co-led the team with five interceptions, led the WAC with 23 passes defended, and seventh in the nation with 1.92 average of passes defended per game
