The purpose of chapter 4 that I’m previewing is about components of system units, describing how memory stores data, instructions, information and sequence of operations occurring when computer executes instruction. I will enjoy reading about PC cards and Flash memory cards. I will not enjoy reading ports and connectors. The thing that I learned from exploring this chapter is CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) uses battery power to retain information like calendar, date and time even when computer is off. This technology does relate to my lift by using it to do my homework, listen to music, sending e-mails, working on the web page and finding information.
