SMAP stands for Sports Music Assemble People. SMAP is a group of 5 (formerly 6) members. They formed in 1988 by the Johnny's jimusho (their agency) which means they've been around for 10 years!!

There is so much to say about smap, but insted of writing it all down why don't you check out all the other web pages made by their fans!! You'll be surprised to know that there are many pages in English too!!

SHINTAKU: my old smap page. sorry only takuya and shingo pics here.
SmapNet (ari's page): this page has info on the smap webring, info on the smap mailing list (email), ml members icq numbers, discography, television appearances and much much more! this was the first smap page i've been to and it's still one of my favorites!
The Smap Webring: a list of smap sites.
Sherrie's smap world: another one of my favorite smap sites. there are lots of pictures! this page is updated often so be sure to visit it often. she also has a takuya page! yippie!!
inagaki goro (goromi-chan's page): since i don't have a goro page yet, please visit my friend's goro page. lots of cool pics and info.

V6 first single came out in 1995. There are two... i guess you could call it subgroups in V6. They are coming century (the younger guys) and 20th century (the older guys). People in japan refer to them as kamisen and tonisen. Which is kind of like calling kimura takuya, kimutaku (taking the first part of each word and shortening it: kimu-ra taku-ya). It can also be compared to the japanese word for print club (those sticker pictures. hawaii people know it as neo print). Japanese people call it purikura (purinto kurabu). Anyways... you can check out the links below for more info on V6.
wanna see V6's single, believe your smile??
wanna hear the new V6 single, taiyo no ataru basho??
hey check out this cool animated gif i made.
young pic of go and ken arm wrestling
young kamisen and hiroshi nagano
coming century...
i like them more than tonisen. don't get me wrong i like tonisen too. but kamisen has ken and jun! they're so kawaii (cute). anyways... kamisen has their own single, natsu no kakera, as well as the c/w (2nd songs) songs on some of the V6 singles. they also have videos too... sky and question.
20th century...
if you're a tonisen fan, you'll be happy to know they have two albums, road and attention. they're the older guys in V6 and have two of the better singers in my opinion. masayuki and inohara can really sing! can you believe some of them have been in the johnny's jimusho for years before coming into V6. i heard masayuki even quit the agency for a while. i think i even saw hiroshi in smap's old movie, shoot.
