How Sleep, Eating and Exercise Patterns
Influence Heart
Rate Variability in a Healthy Student Population
Participants must be 18 years old or older and enrolled at
least part time in college. Data will
be collected almost on a daily schedule between
10:00am and 11:00am
in the KCC Physical Therapy Lab, Kokio 202C.
The data collection will take ~60 minutes. The participant will be asked to refrain from
drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages and from eating and/or smoking
at least 30 minutes prior to the recording period.
Participants should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. All responses are
confidential. This is a non-invasive
study (i.e. we will not be drawing blood, giving shots or other procedures
that enter the skin) that has gained University of Haswii-Institutional Review
Board approval to insure participant safety (CHS #12075). All participants
must sign an informed consent agreement to participate.
