Students at KCC

 

 

Kapiolani Community College (KCC) in collaboration with the Kapiolani Medical Center and the John A. Burns School of Medicine is beginning a new research study here at KCC and we are looking for student volunteers.

 

 

 

How Sleep, Eating and Exercise Patterns Influence Heart Rate Variability in a Healthy Student Population

 

This is a non-invasive study that has gained UH-IRB approval (CHS #12075).  I have included a brief description of the research project here.

Data will be collected almost on daily schedule between 10:00am and 11:00am in the KCC Physical Therapy Lab, Kokio 202C.  The data collection will take ~60 minutes (please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointed time to allow for setup).  Interested participants should go to the Subject Information website to reserve a time.
