Charity WorkI have been an active volunteer for Make-a-Wish (MAW) foundation since 2010, founded a small initiative called Aloha for Peru (AFP) and fundraise for Special Olympics.
With MAW, I grant wishes for children facing life-threatening medical conditions, help organize special events, and fundraise. I've personally sponsored one child's wish and have also created and organized a team of runners (Wish Warriors) to fund wishes for three of our island keiki.
Through AFP, I raised money in 2014 to purchase blankets, coats, and supplies for impoverished children in rural Andean villages.
In 2015, I was part of Team Drop 808; our team raised over $18,000 to allow local children with physical and intellectual challenges have the opportunity to participate in Special Olympics programs free of charge.
