Multitheoretical Psychotherapy (MTP) is a new method of integrative training and treatment planning developed by Dr. Jeff Brooks-Harris at the Counseling and Student Development Center at the Univeresity of Hawaii at Manoa. Because of its emphasis on integrating psychotherapy strategies in practice, it was originally called Skill-Based Psychotherapy Integration (SBPI; Brooks-Harris & Gavetti, 2001). MTP is organized around this multitheoretical framework:

A textbook is currently being prepared for publication by Lahaska Press (Houghton Mifflin / Earlbaum). This book is tentatively titled, Integrative Psychotherapy: A Multitheoretical Approach, and will describe how a multitheoretical approach can be used to plan for intentional integration of diverse psychotherapy strategies.
