Offering a break from the demands of the classroom is one of the benefits of the Greek community. Throughout the year a fraternities and sororitities will participate in many social events such as parties, barbecues, Greekfest, Songfest, and a special event for sororities, Debutante Ball. These events offer you a good time and a great opportunity to meet and interact with members of the opposite sex. Every semester fraternities and sororities have functions, a social event with only one sorority and one fraternity. It really allows you to get to know all the brothers and sisters. For those of us who enjoy a good party, there is no comparison anywhere to the variety, scope, and just plain fun of greek social events.
