I've always loved music,
and this is my big chance to do something with that. This site, as
I am deciding as I type this, will be aimed at the discussion of music
as an important element of human society. Why do we have music?
What have we done with it, and what are we doing with it now? What
can we do with it in the future? These are just some the issues I'd
like to discuss, using this website as a medium.
Some specific questions I have:

is music naturally-occuring?

can it be used as a method of communication, as a
bona-fide language?
-
can all people develop a deep understanding of music,
or are certain people more naturally-inclined to it?

what should the relationship between performer/listener
be? should there really be a separation?
Many of these questions may have been answered before,
but I am curious nonetheless. Thanks for taking the time to ponder
