Course Description of Art 486 (Fall 2001)

     It is the common knowledge that Chinese poetry, calligraphy, and painting are known as san-jue, or three perfections. This course is designed to address the relationship between these three perfections and how they worked together as the rising force for the early and middle Chinese painting exercised in areas of art theory and art practice.
