Hawaiian Society of Law and Politics Annual Symposium
This symposium provided an interdisciplinary forum where the authors of the articles published in the Summer 2004 issue of the Hawaiian Journal of Law & Politics presented their research. Each presenter responded to questions posed by a response panel comprised of one faculty member and one graduate student from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa concerning the presenter's article. The public audience was also given time to pose questions regarding the topic of discussion. When: April 16, 2005 (Saturday) Where: Hawai`i Imin International Conference Center, 1777 East-West Road, on the campus of the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Topic: The symposium encouraged the development of curriculum that engages Hawaiian Statehood and examines Hawai`i, both past and present, within the rubric of international law, applicable theories of international relations, and political theory.
