Welcome to the Hawai'i-Pacific Evaluation Association, newly founded in 2005. You are invited to join this network of evaluators and people interested in evaluation. We are here to serve your needs! Our MissionOur mission is to foster a culture of excellence and ethics
in evaluation in the Pacific region by improving evaluation practices and
methods, increasing evaluation use, promoting evaluation as a profession, and
supporting the contribution of evaluation to the generation of theory and
knowledge about effective human action. Our goals are to:
Association ProfileOrganized by numerous evaluators working in private businesses or at the University of Hawai'i, H-PEA is the official local affiliate of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) since October 2005. The first Annual Meeting on September 8, 2006 was one of the major first steps in connecting evaluators in the Hawai'i-Pacific region.
