When importing or assigning call numbers for literature, check our shelflist to ensure that the call number:
 
a) matches the author (if present in our database, also check their authority record, if present)
         (some remarking of extant pieces may be necessary), and
b) falls into the correct place in the alphabetical list of authors for the call number range, and
c) does not conflict with an existing author (some recuttering may be necessary)
