Replacement copies
Replacement copies for non A⁄V materials [ones where there is still a bib record in the Voyager database]:
Use for ITEMs with a status of Lost or Missing.
- Add as a copy 2 [or the next highest copy number for the specific Location to which the piece is being added]
- Withdraw the Lost or Missing piece for which the piece in hand is a replacement [follow standard Withdrawal procedures]
- Note: Overdue date of 12⁄19⁄2000 on charged false barcode indicate the ITEM had a status of Lost in CARL or ALOHA; clear the ITEM through Head of CatSS before proceeding
- Note: there may be a fee⁄fine or PO attached to the old MFHD
if there is a fee⁄fine attached, add a new MFHD, withdraw the ITEM that has the fee⁄fine attached (on the Excel spreadsheet), and suppress⁄withdraw the associated MFHD
if there is a PO attached, withdraw⁄delete the ITEM and edit the old MFHD to reflect the new piece (i.e., change the copy number)
- If the withdrawn piece(s) has an outstanding fee⁄fine, color the Excel boxes orange
- If the withdrawn piece(s) has an outstanding PO, color the Excel boxes red
