Welcome to my homepage at the University of Hawaii - Hilo. My name is H. Keith Edwards, and I am an assistant professor in the department of computer science. Teaching --------------------------------- For the Fall 2006 term, I will be teaching Introduction to Computer Science, Narrative Programming, and Software Engineering. Research ---------------------------------- My two main areas of research are software engineering and management information systems. I have a particular interest in implemented systems and their continuing evolution as well as understanding the structure of the organizations that create these systems. Other Interests and Hobbies ----------------------------------- Outside of my university life, I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies. In particular, I like walking, hiking, and the martial arts. Living in Hawaii gives me year round opportunities to enjoy all of these and more. This page is a placeholder until I get around to making a more sophisticated website.
