Information about the Vegetable Crops Extension Web Site

Welcome to the CTAHR Vegetable Crops Extension Web site. This site was established in 1998, to serve as a warehouse or repository of information related to the growing of vegetable crops in the Pacific Region, and in Tropical Regions.

The site includes a repository of newsletters published by an Extension Agent in Maui, a repository of the statewide Vegetable Crops Update newsletter published since 1991, variety trial and applied research reports, information on organic farming and sustainable agriculture, and publications that I have written in the area of crop biotechnology- concerning its potential risks from an environmental, health, and socioeconomic (including community food security) perspective.
