The Trauma of the Sea

Theme
"you will be joyously surprised to find out how God will fulfill his word"
When the trauma of the sea is spent,
For a moment there is peace.
Remnants of the storm broil
Against the clearing sky.
A thousand ripples flash
As the sun appears.
When the trauma of the sea is past,
For a time there is peace.
The dancing light resolves
Into brilliance of day.
Like a flower opening.
Each petal is bright.
When the trauma of God is past,
Light that ends my darkness.
Finally there is peace.
Light that ends my darkness.
Like a thousand petals
And all, then, is at rest.
Opening forever.
And all, then, is at rest.
The agony of God past,
Light ends my darkness.
Unfolding in waves.
Light ends my darkness.
All is a face of God.
And all is at rest.
All is a face of God.
And all is at rest.
Oceans and oceans,
The sea, the sea, the sea,
Gilded waves wash upon the shore.
God`s agony past.
Light ends darkness.
Peace within
Light ends darkness
Dreams range to and fro;
A face of God.
Washing the shore;
A face of God.
My universe dawns,
Light ends darkness.
God is seen.
Light ends darkness.
Reality is still;
A face of God.
Unmoved by the waves;
A face of God.
The universe opens,
All is at rest.
God revealed.
All is at rest.
Land contains;
The sea shapes.
Land and sea;
Both of God.
God`s agony past.
In the light.
At peace.
In the light.
Reality contains;
Dreams move.
Reality and dreams;
Both of God.
All is clear;
In the light.
God's face.
In the light.
I am on the shore,
Looking for truth;
Seeing God.
See clearly;
All is at rest.
God's face.
All is at rest.
Dream of understanding,
I understand.
Dream of freedom,
I'm free.
Not my agony!
The light.
God`s agony!
The light.
My sun rises!
Mists clear away.
Free!
The faces are one.
All light.
In a harmony
Of light.
I awake -
I can see -
God!
I, too am
A face of God
At rest.
