Dr. Nina K. Buchanan (ninab@hawaii.edu) and Dr. Robert A. Fox (rfox@hawaii.edu) have been involved with charter schools in Hawaii since their inception. Nina was a founder of the West Hawaii Explorations Public Charter School and has served continuously on the WHEA Local School Board. Robert has served on the Hawaii Academy of Arts and Sciences LSB and has been active in educational policy related to charter schools.
