Attendance and Participation in the Classroom Grading

A (90-100) B (80-89) C-F (0-79)

Attendance Attends and is on time for all class sessions. Contacts the faculty coordinator prior to class if attendance or timeliness is not possible for reasons beyond the student's control. Attends and is on time for most class sessions. Contacts the faculty coordinator if unable to attend. Attends most class sessions and is sometimes on time.

Participation Volunteers when appropriate and enthusiastically participates in class discussion. Generally participates in class discussion. Sometimes participates in class discussion.
