Dear Golden Key Members -- It has been brought to the attention of the Advising Team of your Golden Key Executive Board that several Golden Key members are signing up as volunteers for our numerous activities, and then not appearing for the events to carry out their volunteerism. While we fully recognize that we all lead extremely busy lives and that emergencies can occur, please make it a point to do your very best to remain committed to your shift and event when you RSVP to do so. Our integrity and professionalism as a society rests on our ability to be dependable and reliable. We cannot do this without you. Remember that the organizations for which we volunteer count on us to ensure that their events will be successful. Help us to maintain the stellar reputation we have worked so hard to attain. Remember that GK policy actually permits us to subtract Activity Points for "no-shows." We are confident that we do not need to implement this policy.
