Space Frame

A three-dimensional exploration of voids and planes with an emphasis on space and proportions. Application of basic design concepts such as balance, rhythm, scale, and color.
As a three-dimensional model, there was an oppurtunity to "bend" the planes from a simple orthogonal composition. Such approach led to a dynamic interaction of planes and voids, further enhanced by the disappearance of some of the corner elements. At this extent, the space frame model was no longer confined (or perceived) within a rectangular box; rather its "outside" environment (void space) became a part of the conglomeration of voids "within" the space frame.
