Not unlike music, architecture is an endeavor in which one attempts to elicit deep-rooted values, hopes and dreams of our time.
On the card, traditional (architectural) values come in the form of an Ionic capital; Hawaiian tapa pattern echoes the islands' place in the new global village; the colors represent the holiday season; and the architectural work articulates GYA’s forward- looking attitude.
An in-house design charette, the design was chosen for the firm's Christmas card for 1996.
