Digital Multimedia provides studio experience in multimedia concepts and techniques including video editing, compositing, motion graphic design, sound editing, and multimedia interface design through the creation of time-based works of art.

- Consider custom motion/animation for image.
- Consider syncing the timing of your transitions with the audio.
- NOTE: Since the nma labs temporarily do not have Encore – if you do not have it at home, please export out an AVI (.avi) video file and bring it to class to be handed in via the network. Do not try to post online.
INSTRUCTIONS:

- Copy, examine, and log the provided STEM footage. Be sure to copy the latest "_new" video files!
- Familiarize yourself with the NMA stock video collection and audio library.
- Begin planning your STEM video. Start by familiarizing yourself with the existing footage, then coming up with a concept to execute. Prepare to shoot your own video.

- Make final changes to your STEM video and re-render. For those who did not burn a DVD yet, please bring into class an auto-play DVD and an exported .avi file (DV NTSC 720x480). Everyone else, just bring in the updated/Final .avi.
- Start thinking of project ideas for your midterm.
- Write up a film treatment - consider including standard pre-production elements such as a brief project description/synopsis, sketches, a written script, storyboard, etc.).
