iPhotoFest is a competition where you can submit
four original digital photos to be judged.
The iPhotoFest 2003 winner was announced at the State of the Pi. The winning entries may be viewed here and here, complete with descriptions. Congratulatations to this year's winner! If you didn't get a chance to submit your digital photos this semester, try again at iPhotoFest 2004.
Rules:
- Only Gamma Apple Pi members can submit their digital photos. For more information on joining Gamma Apple Pi, please refer to this page. Membership is free.
- Up to four photos from each contestant will be accepted. If more are submitted only the first four will be accepted (from top to bottom).
- The submissions must be edited and enhanced using iPhoto only. If artistic effects not found in iPhoto are found, the photo will be disqualified.
- Entries must be tasteful; avoid blood, nudity, and other offensive material. If there is a question about a photo, e-mail us.
- Please submit a brief description for each picture explaining how you got the idea, why you think it's a great photo, etc.
- The Winner should show up to SoTPi to claim their prize. This means you must be present at the final meeting to win. (If you submitted an entry and cannot make it for whatever reason, please inform us through e-mail and we'll try to make a compromise).
Entry Deadline is April 30th, 2002, 6:00 PM (HST).
Send your entries along with their descriptions to gapi@hawaii.edu, with the subject "iPhotoFest Submission."
Entries will be showcased during the State of the Pi General Meeting.

Photos will be judged on:
- creativity
- focus
- description
- overall quality
