This video did not quite make it to Independence Day Fame ... However, this is the kind of video that could get your sweetie and you to REALLY appreciate each other.
If you don't have ze sweetie, never fear. The video gives you hope for that, too.
Oui, oui, ma cherie. Zis is one of my very favorite movies.
Meg Ryan is a woman hell bent on getting wandering ex-fiance Timothy Hutton back for good.
Unfortunately, he is wandering around Paris with a new fiance who he describes as a "God-dess."
Ryan meets up with Kevin Kline who plays a darling rogue who has his own fish to fry.
They help each other -- he helps her win back the "weak-chinned" Hutton and she helps him stay out of trouble with Jean Reno, your favorite French lawman. Whether or not she ends up with the "hero" or the "zero," is up to you to find out.
The movie is good... if you like Meg Ryan at her flakiest. (Personally, I am a Meg Ryan fan, so I loved it.)
However, if her pre-Courage Under Fire attitude gives you nausea, it's best you stay away... unless you want to hear Kline's sexy French accent (if that's all you want, then fast-forward to the ending credits... he does a doubly sexy rendition of "Sailing.")
See this video, if you're anything like me... if not, stick to something like Streets of Fire.
