1.     Objective

To disseminate widely and to promote discussions on policy recommendations on “Designing a Financial Market Structure in Post-Crisis Asia,” prepared by the Asian Policy Forum (APF) and ADB Institute.  

The APF presentation includes  

          1)  overview of the Asian financial market structures in Asia: stylized facts;   

          2)  analytical framework,  

          3)  policy recommendations. 

To obtain in-depth feedback to the presentation from participating policy makers, regulators, and academicians in order to improve ADBI policy recommendations.

To discuss the feasibility of creating a regional bond market and to promote policy dialogue among capital market regulators and market operators.
