My name is William Falzarano. I am majoring in Biology with an interest in pursuing Dentistry. My hobbies include building remote control cars and raising exotic pets such as Arowanas and Jackson's Chameleon. Another thing I enjoy to do to break the monotony of homework is watching professional football, there is nothing like watching a good quarterback sack or a safety laying the lumber on a wide receiver. I also enjoy sci-fi and action movies.

Background:

I was born in Los Angeles. I lived there for thirteen years and moved to Hawaii in 1989. I attended Maryknoll High School and graduated in 1993. I was not an academic nor an athletic star at Maryknoll. In the fall of 1993 I began attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa and decided to become a Biology major. With some observing and volunteer work, I made the decision to pursue dentistry with the hope of specializing in oral surgery.Some may why I wish to become an oral surgeon. I respond by saying "I enjoy working with complex objects and would find this field very challenging." I have no preference as to which Dental I will attend, as long as any school accepts me I will be content. If all goes well I should be graduating U.H. in the summer of 1997 and will be attending Dental school in the fall.

Interests:

As mentioned above, I enjoy building and racing remote control cars, currently I am working on a Blitz Supra. Building remote control cars is alot of fun, because the upgrades that you can perform on it are limitless, it is also useful to have the knowledge of building the car so that when it breaks down, you know how to repair it. My Jackson Chameleon and Arowana help to relax me, they look so peaceful moving around that it makes the effort of raising them worth it. My favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, they are a resilient group who can never be counted out. There dogged determination makes me like them even more.
