For english-speakers, a good approximation to the pronunciation of my last name, Biagioni, is "be-a-joe-knee".

Many people call me "Edo". This is pronounced in the same way as the Edo period in Japan, and rhymes with the name of the Texas city of Laredo.

Some people call me "Edoardo". Since most non-italians do a poor job of pronouncing the name, I prefer to be called "Edo": I don't like to correct people, and I don't like having my name mis-pronounced.
