Rhyme: Pray I'm Right
My soul is damned, my heart is rent
After all this time, at last I'm spent
No longer fully myself in all I do
To myself, I am never true
And to have turned my eyes upon her face
I rush through my work, in so much haste
To no avail, for she has left for the day
And I am left holding two cups of coffee
Not much left to say, nothing left to see
So much dross, so much loss
All through life with a silly grin...
Forgive me father, for I have sinned.

Wasabe: Ray Of Light
A whole heart canned, a penny spent
A million ticks known not meant
So lingering in sadness and rue
A stirring lie -- smoldering stew
Angel eyed; peer into this soul
Cup a heart which willn't throe
Time hath no halting of its dreams
Poring a tome, roaming in loam
Writhing wings and splintered seams
Self stringent solitude retorting home
