Added Feedback Page
06.08.2001 11:00
Added a page where you can send me feedback... check it out!

Also, I'm reading up on XHTML. I plan to move the site to full XML compliance... CSS code is working great. The next step to full data/interface seperation will be to infuse some XML into the site.
XML here I come!!!
No Full WAP/HDML Support
06.08.2001 9:07
I've thought about it and have come to the conculsion that updating this entire site to HDML(Handheld Device Markup Language) would be quite a bad idea and waste of time... first off I hardly get Web-phones visiting... and I run no server of my own. ITS isn't going to just add HDML streaming for me, I know, I've tried getting them to do things like this before and have failed miserably. I think my proposition for PHP is still in paper work... probably will never see the day of light too... luckily they have Perl which is a slight consolation.

Nah. It sucks.

Oh well.
Funk dat WAP! Funk dat HDML! Funk dat!
Help me check the site
06.08.2001 8:26
Well, the site is up and running... I still have about 50 or more documents to convert into the new format... However, I need some help and feedback regarding how the site looks in the following browsers : I've thought about downloading and testing each broswer... but with my current 28.8k connection that would be crazy.

Other than that... the site seems to be working terrifically. I'll be adding SprintPCS web support today -- if possible I'll also add a feedback form for instant feedback. But for now, I can be contacted via email : ericnaka@hawaii.edu
Oh, Polly Wolly Wocken Field how I love her green tennis shoes!
CSS Validation!
04.08.2001 18:31
This site is ready for easy integration between differing types of browsers... Also, I need to get my HTML validated. My next goal is to get my pages to work on PCS enabled cell phone browsers. We'll see tonight!
CSS Validation -- then the world!!!
Premature Site Navigation
04.08.2001 15:45
I've been working on the site all day . . . Didn't even go to the beach. Dangit! Shards of Unequivocable Lunacy is my latest venture of Web Sites. SoUL is slowly turning out to be a very manageable Design. It offers window like boxing text with relativity designed CSS code. Heck, changing the look of the entire site takes only a few mouse clicks!(heavily exagerrated ;))

I'm about ready to let the site go... hmm... I need some peer feedback.

New site design . . .
04.08.2001 12:03
The new site design is ready for meshing with the old data... I'll be redoing most parts of the site... I really like this design... What can I say?

This site uses no font tags what so ever...

Wanna see my old site? no!

I'm just gonna redo it all... it's way to messy... getting hard and harder to hack through all the stupid html... CSS has saved me... CSS has set me free...
.: e.n. Screw this... time to redo my site!

Well, I went down to check out HTI... it is ok... I guess...

Out of date computer systems... oh well... we do with what we have... right?

I really hope this doesn't turn out to be just another book and charter experience. I would really like to do something that can affect the community as a whole and use my talents and such. I get to relearn the Office2K basics... bleh. The guy whom I spoke to, though, said that I can accelerate To any level. I'm gonna try to learn some ASP scripting ;)... What can I say, though?

I have good technical skills... but maybe I should start thinking less about what I want to do with my life and more with what the powers above see fit for me.

I'm still working on incolcating myPIM ... however I'm getting bored programming it in C++. I feel as if I'm wasting my time with C++ when all I want to do is simple things... bleh! I need to finish this program . . . period.

So what's the worst possible thing that can happen to me? Hmm... let's see... Food poisoning for one... from BK... f***. Oh, yeah and my lens for my glasses broke into two pieces. Yay.

Anyway I'm still waiting for Alu Like to call me back . . . However, slowly am I begining to doubt that anything will even happen.

I'm still working on myPIM... I need to get the XML import and export functionality working... but we'll see...

Ahh, there's the rub...

I just found my burner... 2x s***ty eh? Yeah I think so too. Considering the small fees people pay nowadays for a very capable 16x and even 20x burner... I really don't see why I don't get a new one except for me being broke. ;)

PPP still is not working in Linux... which is a major vice... I will not use an OS unless I have explicit control of my connection to my ISP. I can't stand dual-booting any OS... it's just a big waste of time waiting while either OS' load... time as they say is the thing I have the least of.

Anyway, aside from my bitching... I'll be going To Linux soon. Win2K is nice and all that... but in terms of compiling speed, nothing beats Linux's g++! I hope to push a working version of myPIM out the door soon... I really despise working on my site in windows, even if I get all these fance shmancy little doo-dads.

DW4 for example is a very nice program... but overall it is way too slow... and still doesn't have the functionality that I need... myPIM will hopefully bridge the gap for my transition To Unix... It will hopefully be XML 1.0 compliant and be able to run via a small perl front end for the web ;)... I'm thinking of providing the ability to directly interface with the program via special markup commands passed to the argument line... which will help make the program even better...

I'm thinking of making two programs : one for data entry, and another for data imaging... i.e. transforming them into web pages... Once this is done I'll move on to working my other pages into the model...

MyPIM currently provides:
Note entry... a note is pretty much one of these entries. Much like a news entry on some other sites out there...

And that's all for now... I plan to add LINKS RANTS CODE-INSERTION and lots of other types of information , but automated... as seen throughout the site.

Source as well as precompiled binaries will be provided shortly...
.: e.n.(I added a note-end(end of note) class into CSS)
