Welcome to my home page. I am an associate professor in the department of Educational Administration in the College of Education at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. My research areas of interest include organizational theories, specifically organizational culture as it applies to diverse student populations in K-12 public school systems. I favor qualitative research methods to explore the complexity that exists in cultural contexts within educational organizations. I also do research in educational technology with an interest in better understanding how technology as structure intersects with organizational culture and the people within school systems.
