Keyboard Kinetics
Improve your typing speed. Here is an invaluable tool that is proven to be effective. The typical speed improvement is 20-30 net words per minute.

Grammar and Style Essentials
Learn grammar and punctuation concepts specifically related to their application in medical transcription.

Medical Word Building
Learn the vocabulary of medicine. Perform hundreds of available exercises on medical word parts: prefixes, root words, and suffixes.

Human Anatomy, Physiology and Disease Processes
Learn to understand the human body and how it works. This unit contains detailed pictures and diagrams of all major body systems.

How to Look Up Word, Plurals, Abbreviations, Word Differentiation
Learn to create excellent quality work by using correct plural endings, formatting, common abbreviations, and word differentiation.

Focus on Medical Specialties
See and read hundreds of medical reports with exercises on vocabulary specific to each specialty. This module functions as a reference second to none once the student begins work.

Editing and Proofreading
Learn proofreading and editing through exercises focusing primarily on medical reports. Learn to indentify and avoid transposed letters, incorrect punctuation, and nonsensical phrases and words.

Technology and Employment
Learn to be prepared for the workplace. This unit contains information on transcription technology, gaining employment, acquiring equipment, marketing, determining tax responsibility, and more.

Extensive Hands-on Training
Acquire the practice to be successful. The transcription practice contains over 575 audio files of actual dictation which cover clinic notes, radiology, pathology, emergency room reports, radiation therapy, operation reports, and much, much more.

Clinical Notes
Practice further by transcribing clinical notes dictated by health care professionals. All major clinic specialties and "real" dictation with background noises, muffled phrases, and foreign dictators are included.

Intermediate Transcription
Improve your skill by looking up things you don't know and familiarize yourself with the process of transcription. The content contains over 130 dictations of non-foreign doctors who speak clearly, and which do not have major background noise.

Advanced Transcription
Prepare yourself for the worst of what is out there, and for anything. This is the real preparation for working. This module has 220 dictation files from actual doctors, including foreign dictators, "mush mouths", physicians who can't use the equipment correctly and cut themselves off, background noise, and all the other nuisances that make transcription difficult.
