Description:
The powerful graphic capabilities of the World Wide Web make new methods for both making art and diseeminating art information possible. Step into the Digital Art Salon to hear panelists speak on creative ways artists, museums and libraries are using digital technology in the arts.

Speakers include a digital artist and educator, an art historian, and a musuem information specialist. Some showcased projects are Art Images for College Teaching (AICT), a Web-based resource providing open access to digital images of art and architecture, and ArtsConnectEd, an Internet gateway for teachers, students, and parents to access educational resources at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and others.
