Step 5 a. Under Publish What?, make sure that "Complete Presentation" and "Display Speaker Notes" are marked. b. Under Browser Support, MAKE SURE THAT YOU SELECT THE OPTION "Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later". c. Under Publish A Copy As, make sure that the "File Name:" option reads "C:\windows\desktop\upload\index.htm" (you can just type it in). d. BEFORE CLICKING THE PUBLISH BUTTON, WE HAVE ONE MORE OPTION TO CONFIGURE. Under Publish What?, you should see a button labeled "Web Options". Click that button and continue to step 6. |

Step 6 Click the Files Tab and continue to step 7.

Step 7 Click the Pictures Tab and continue to step 8. |

Step 8 Click the Encoding Tab and continue to step 9. |

Step 9 Once you have all these settings completed for "Web Options", then press the "OK" button. You will be taken back to the Publish as Web Page window. Continue to step 10. |

Step 10 PowerPoint 2000 will convert your presentation to HTML and place all of the necessary files into the folder called "upload" on your desktop.

Step 11 The next step is to "Zip" your folder or compress the folder so you can upload it to your Student Presentations area of WebCT. View the WinZip help file to learn how to do this. |
