Updated Julytober 1, 2003

Suhweet!! Now that school is completely finished I can return to enjoying all the anime that has been piling up. Anyway last time I updated was April. First off, the Maison Serv site is finished. I think it's still up but no one is around to seed. If you want me to seed stuff email me. Be quick though cause I'm taking it off my hard drive. I watched some new stuff since my last update and I must say that I'm ecstatic about some of them. Some of you might remember me being pissed off at the new stuff from October and some from January. Anyway here are some must sees. Last EXILE will win as the best anime this year, barring some other mind boggling anime to be produced. (Best Ever?) It is the best marriage of the classic cell art with the most impressive CGI design. What makes it though is the overall feel of sophistication, with it's periodal qualities, and story telling. Wolf's Rain's appeal is that it has the majority of Cowboy Bebop people (directors, music, art etc) on it. It has been great, although it has taken a back seat to Last EXILE, it does remind me of a role playing game. Gundam Seed has peaked my interest with it's plot twists and character development. Of coursed it's based on previous Gundam series, but this one sets itself apart. What has been disappointing is that it doesn't utilize as much CGI as I thought it would. The latest one to floor me is Gad Guard, I can't say enough about this one. So I won't and I'll just tell you to watch it. It's freaking awesome. I don't think I ever mentioned Naruto before, but it's a good long one. Maybe the funniest anime out right now. So those are my top ones. The most impressive being Last EXILE and Gad Guard. I haven't been more excited about new anime in a long time.

I'll talk about really recent let downs. E's Otherwise looks good. Why it gives you that Matrix dark city corporate vibe. Which probably set me up to expect Matrix like action. The opening sequence looks awesome as well. The action sequences in the first anime however, were a complete let down. It's quite early to judge. But Usually a first episode requires the creators to just put everything in to it to just floor the viewers. The art is still impeccable, and those opening sequences show promise, so there still is hope. Narue's World isn't a letdown. Rather it's a surprise. I thought it was going to be typical bishoujo junior high school stuff. But no it gets weird. Interesting though. Raimuiro Senkitan sucks so I stopped downloading it. It's so lifeless and plastic. Blech.

Now I am extremely hyped up for Onegai Twins, the sequel or bi-quel (same time period different story line) to Onegai Teacher. I don't think anything has surpassed Onegai Teacher as my personal favorite Anime of all time. I don't think this one will either, but I never got enough of the first one, so I will thoroughly enjoy this one just knowing that I get to  see Mizuho again. Man, I love her. I believe the writers should be able to concoct another great heart wrenching dramatic love story. Starts airing in July!!

BIT-TORRENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please take advantage of Bit-Torrent. This is the latest and greatest way to get anime. Some good start off points are:

OLD STUFF

I apologize much if you cannot download from me. I have a firewall that I can't get around. And sometimes I just can't connect to some users. Sometimes this can be resolved by restarting your software, restarting your computer - especially if you leave it on for long periods - or using different software. [I use winmx 2.6]  There are cases where no matter what, you just can't connect, which is too bad, so I apologize. Lastly, thanks to those who share their anime and bandwidth with me. Arigatou ^_^
