Worksheets. These are written for instructors or other evaluators and simply make evaluations easier by breaking the rubric components into sub-components. An instructor circles or otherwise marks the level (Developing, Competent, or Exemplary) that most closely represents a student's level of achievement for each sub-component. The level of a student's achievement of the component is then the level of the majority of sub-components marked. For example, for one rubric component where one Developing level and two Competent levels were marked, the student's level of achievement would be Competent. Ties are avoided by the usually odd number of sub-components.
