for any of your essays, you should prepare a 1 page writeup and try to answer any 5 of the following questions:

1. What is the direct strength of this essay, the thing that you are proudest about?

2. What is the direct improvement of this essay, the thing that may need sustained revision or major improvement?

3. What general obstacles did you encounter in the production of this essay (time constraints, procrastination, lack of focus, difficulty with topic, clarity of what was expected, etc.)?

4. Of those obstacles, which obstacle was the one that affected the production of this essay the MOST?

5. What are some of the areas in terms of general writing in which you have improved?

6. What are some of the areas in terms of general writing in which you still need some degree of work?

7. If any reader were to read this piece, what is the one thing that you really want them to take away/learn from this piece?

8. What methodologies should your instructor undertake to give you a better comprehension or execution of this essay?

9. If you were the instructor, how might you adapt this assignment, including 'getting rid of it' and why would you adapt it in that manner?

10. What general principles of heroism did you learn about from this essay?

11. What general life lessons did you personally learn from this essay?
