Task:
1. Consider your entire life's exposure to T.V., comic
books, radio, and books. Identify your most hated or
most beloved robot / A.I. character.
2. Deeply analyze your fear, intrigue, admiration,
or any combination of the three for that fictional robot/A.I.
You may want to include a picture so that you can begin
to analyze the features and details of that particular
robot.
3. Write up a polished draft that gives the reader
a basic summary and analysis about that character and
why you selected them.
The core purpose of this assignment is to assess your
attitudes to A.I. and robots and to explore the rationale
for many societal responses to robotics and technology:
rampant fear, wholehearted acceptance, wary adoption.
