Critical Paper on Military as a Gendered Workplace

The paper must be based on the readings you have done for Weeks 12 and 13 (Enloe, Grossholtz, Burke, Takazato, and Lee).  No external sources are required to write this paper.

What makes military workplace culture masculine and how is this culture tied to homophobia?  How does the presence of women in uniform affect this culture? How are military spouses and women who work in and around the military bases, often in "Rest and Relaxation" centers, militarized? Why should we consider them when thinking about the military as a gendered workplace?  End the paper by reflecting on how we can revalue the reproductive, sexual, and voluntary labor of women not in uniform.
