Applying for the Psychology Internship at CSDC-UHM:
QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES Candidates for the predoctoral Psychology Internship at the Counseling and Student Development Center, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, must be advanced doctoral candidates in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology. Courses in psychotherapy, assessment, career development, multicultural competence, and supervision are recommended. All candidates must have completed one year of practicum during which they provided individual psychotherapy. Your AAPI should document at least 500 intervention and assessment hours and a grand total of at least 1000 practicum hours. APPLICATIONS Application for the Predoctoral Psychology Internship at CSDC-UHM follows the AAPI (APPIC Application for Psychology Internship) process which is available at the APPIC (Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers) website (www.appic.org).
