Aloha! E komo mai!

Making life changes, choosing an appropriate major and career, becoming independent, relating successfully to others, and leading a successful and fulfilling life can be difficult at times.  The demands of an academic life can contribute to the stress we feel.  Juggling a class schedule while meeting personal responsibilities can sometimes bring on discomfort, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and physical symptoms.

The Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC) is a university service that provides a variety of counseling and testing services for students and uses a holistic approach to promote wellness and personal success.  The services are confidential and free of charge for Manoa students.

CSDC is located on the third floor of the Queen Lili'uokalani Center for Student Services, at the heart of the Manoa campus.

CSDC office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.  If you are living on-campus and need to reach a counselor after office hours, contact the Counselor-In-Residence (CIR).  For off-campus residents who want to talk to someone on an emergency and crisis basis, call 911, "0", or the Suicide and Crisis Center (available 24 hours/7 days) at (808) 832-3100.

The center is interested in serving all UH students, faculty, and staff.  If you have any special accommodation needs, let the center know so that arrangements can be made that will work for you.
