Snap, Nudge, Align and Rotate

1. The arrow next to Draw allows you to align and rotate graphics, change the AutoShape and other features. The following pull down menu selection will be covered on this page.

2. The snap button will align the object to an invisible grid, or to another shape on the slide. You can make your own gridlines by unselecting Snap to Grid and clicking on the Menubar under View and Guides .

3. The Nudge button will move the selected object by a small amount, either Up , Down , Left or Right.

4. The Align and Distribute button will move the objects so that they are evenly aligned to the Right, Left, Center, Top (as shown below), Bottom, or Middle. Additionally the Objects may be distributed horizontally or vertically.

5. The Rotate or Flip button enables the object to be repositioned. To Free Rotate grab one of the green corner circles and rotate the object to the desired position, as in the third oval below.
