I’m an Assistant Professor at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. I received my PhD in 2012 from Columbia University.
My research interests include ENSO dynamics and predictability, ENSO in past climates, the response of mid-latitude atmospheric circulation to climate change and variability, sea level variability and its effects on coastal aquifers and ecosystems, dynamical systems theory, hydro-climate modeling, and hydroInformatics and model optimization.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes
